• Your product is delivered with the self-sealing gasket preinstalled in the front-most concave bead of fitting.
• When you slip the pieces together, the gasket simply rolls from one concave bead to the other without the friction of a stationary gasket.
• After you have fully connected the joint, the gasket rests in the rear concave bead sealing the joint to meet SMACNA’s leakage class 3, at +/- 10” w.g.
